Did you know that poverty is a spirit as well as an economic condition? Jesus had a special  
anointing to preach the good news to the poor first. Change a man’s mind, change his condition.  
That is what the gospel does. There are three very important reasons God wants us to prosper and  
be in health even as our soul prospers. First, money answers all things (Eccl. 10:19), secondly,  
God has demands of us all that requires financial resources, and lastly, we need abundant supply  
to meet the demands God has assigned us to.
