Proverbs 22:6 NKJV “ Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.”

Deut. 6:6-9 NKJV “6 And these words which I common you today shall be in your heart. 7 You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. 8 You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. 9 You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.”

Isn’t it funny how every generation thinks the next is worse off than they were? Why is that? How can we parent so God’s standard becomes the standard they live by and set for those who follow them? How can we teach those in our house not to compromise on God’s word? These are all challenging questions facing parents, and how we answer them needs to be biblical.
