1 Peter 3:15; Matthew 6:24 NKJV “ No one can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and mammon.”
Biblical answers to questions, criticism, and controversy. How is money handled in the church, what is the role of the Pastor, and how they are paid in the church? Bishop takes special care in this series to show that God is a God of order and organization and that even Jesus himself operated by the principles of God’s standard. Find out how we don’t just tithe for blessing, but we tithe to remove a curse and show that all we have belongs to God. How we spend what we have and what we do with our resources is a form of worship, and that form of worship was established before there was a church. Transparency in all of our financial dealings from what is given to the ministry, to how the money is distributed to ministerial tasks and paychecks is an important facet of the integrity of our ministry, and we’re thankful for the ability to be accountable to the Word.
